	The Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce is Rhode Island's
	oldest and largest business advocacy organization.  For 127
	years, its mission has been a basic one: to fashion a business
	climate that permits commerce of all stripes to flourish.
	The Chamber's Economic Development Council is able to provide
	expertise to any manufacturer or service-oriented business
	looking to expand or relocate to the greater Providence area.
	Specifically, the Council can play a role in site-selection
	assistance, furnish information on financing options and supply
	statistical and demographic profiles. The Council also
	spawned an Industrial Competitiveness Program designed to
	help Rhode Island manufacturers access new technologies,
	improve their operating practices and compete more effectively
	with the world's best-run companies. A private-sector entity,
	such as the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce, is often
	the perfect partner in helping a company decide where to locate
