  1. in the grading of sessions, a flunk is given when
    1. the F/N did not get to examiner and didn't occur at session end,
    2. major errors or flubs occurred like no EP, multiple somatic, unflown ruds, etc.
    3. the C/S was not followed or completed,
    4. Auditors' Rights listed errors occurred,
    5. no F/N and BIs at examiner. (HCOB 21 Aug 70)
  2. in TRs, if the student falters, comm lags, fumbles a command or fails to get an execution on coach, coach says "flunk" and they start at beginning of command cycle in which error occurred. (HCOB 11 June 57)
