All PAC Parents FOUNTAIN, H.I., AND WILCOX NIGHT SCENES It has come to my attention that some parents are taking their children to their berthing spaces after dinner and leaving them there unattended when they return to post. This is very dangerous and illegal and must not be done. NO CHILDREN ARE EVER TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN BERTHING SPACES NO MATTER THE LENGTH OF TIME OR THE TIME OF THE DAY. There are many dangers and dangerous situations a young child could encounter without adult supervision. None of the above mentioned buildings are save for children and not used for child care. Children are only in these spaces with their parents or a guardian. Any children found left unattended in any of these buildings are to be returned to the Annex. The children will be held there until their parents come pick them up. Only when an approved sane solution for other than Annex care is approved by CEO HCO may a child be babysat at berthing spaces. The Annex is open and legal for child care until Midnight. It is the CEO's hat to care for the children till then. It is crazy for parents to try to handle after dinner care and go unusual like leaving children unattended. The CEO is here to care for children from 7:30 a.m. to Midnight daily so that PAC staff can get on with their posts. They are doing a pretty fair job of it these days and improvement is occuring. They will wear their hats and the parents wear theirs. Consultant advices on this are available at CEO for review by parents.
