Matthew Carter's Yale University 2007 typeface ---------------------------------------------- This is a conversion to OpenType-CFF of the Matthew Carter's Yale University 2007 TrueType typeface (look at the Source folder). This a full OpenType version: the small caps and the tabular lining figures are integrated as OpenType features into the main fonts (then, the 'Admin" fonts are no more needed). I've also "normalized" these fonts, by pushing the ligatures in their Unicode's location and the Yale signatures in the Unicode's private island, restoring the glyphs like Î (uppercase I with circumflex) which were ejected by these Yale signatures, and adding some lacking glyphs. I've added to the main fonts, as stylistic alternate, the special "f" of the "Admin" fonts: this is an interesting glyph, as it doesn't need any ligature to live friendly with the other glyphs (look at http://www.yale.edu/universityprinter/typeface/yale_admin_roman.html). There is also an alternate "Q", taken from the small caps font, in the Regular font. I've set the tabular lining figures as default figures in the Small Caps font (with the old style figures as OpenType alternate), so this font can be used to get the tabular numbers and the small caps in the OpenType-blind applications, like MS Word. Take the time to read the documentation at http://www.yale.edu/universityprinter/typeface/typeface.html. It's an excellent work of Matthew Carter, with many features to know and use.
